MS Outlook: Allow commas as address separator

To allow commas to separate e-mail addresses follow these steps:

  1. Open up MS Outlook.

  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.

  3. Click E-Mail Options.

  4. Click Advanced E-Mail Options.

  5. Under When sending a message, select the Allow comma as address separator check box.

Click OK to exit out of each of the three windows.

Your Outlook client will now accept a semicolon or a comma as an address separator in any address field.
